Is it love?

It’s much better for people to hate us or not like us, rather than love us wrongly. Nothing hurts more than, being surrounded by a love which doesn’t feel like love, which feels as if someone is prickling you with a throne every time.

Is it love?

.
It’s better to hear, I hate you or it’s better to muster the courage to hear the words, that I don’t like your company rather than being in love with someone, whosoever it may be, any relationship, and letting it turn into “a taken for a granted pattern”.

.
Whether it be our close relatives, siblings, cousins or partner. Sometimes, we really love them, we can really do anything in this world to seek their validation and hear those sweet words of acceptance and that’s where you’ll understand, that if you are seeking this validation, Is the love exchanged between you two right? Is it pure? Or is it just attention deprived? Sometimes, even worse, the love turns out to be toxic, abusive or ruthless.

Know your worth. It’s better to be alone, rather than sitting with a whole bunch of people and still feeling alone inside.

.
I’ve realized one thing over the years, you need to have the courage to encounter the situation, where you really love the person, but you should have the courage to say, that Listen I love you, I really do, but I love myself more and I would really appreciate, not being loved at all, but at any given cost, I won’t appreciate being wrongly loved or neglected. That’s not my style.

.
I think so as individuals, we are enough on our own, we are worthy and capable of everything and the love inside us for ourselves, forms the pattern of love we will be receiving from others as well. And no matter, how unloved you feel. Know one thing, Your God, your mom and your pets, if you have any and this nature loves you and accepts you for, who you are.

  1. You speak from the heart, I can tell. I can remember a time, back in my college days, when I felt “sitting with a whole bunch of people and still feeling alone inside.” It was when I would go alone to the school cafeteria – and have no one I knew to sit with. I felt so lonely in the crowded cafeteria that I soon discovered I would rather not eat than go alone. It took me many years to be comfortable with my own aloneness – and to discover that “alone” and “lonely” are not the same thing. You are so right, it is better to be alone than to be with someone who does not have your best interests at heart. Bless you always, my friend, with loving friendships – and with enough self-worth to be comfortable with your own presence in the absence of others. A good book can be a great friend!

    1. Greetings of the day, I hope you are doing well and you and your family is in safe health. Thankyou so much for sharing this with me, I’ve felt the same thing too many times and yes alone and lonely are not the same thing, and I am happy being alone, rather being a part of conversations, where I return mentally exhausted or with a feeling of anxiety. God bless you always. You are such a wonderful soul and thankyou so much for stopping by and reading. Means a world to me
